All You's Grocery Circlular Roundup

When I went to All You‘s website to look for new June coupons I saw a new application. “Grocery Circular Roundup”

Apparently this FREE interactive tool launched Friday. It allows shoppers to browse grocery circulars by typing in their zip code or selecting their favorite local store to see what’s on sale in their area. Shoppers can also enter their shopping list to match desired items with local sales. The tool is powered by Grocery Server, the leading grocery search and shopping engine.

Ethical Couponing Pledge

I read this on Money Saving Amanda’s awesome site. Aside from being cute IMO it is something we need to take serious. If people don’t stop using coupons fraudulently it’s going to ruin it for everyone! Don’t let one bad apple ruin the crop!

I pledge allegiance, against coupon fraud and to only use coupons ethically
To make those proud, who want freebies like me.
I will not copy Ip’s
I will not “decode” a coupon
I will not use coupons against the words written or use shady practices
One coupon community
Under God
Together as ONE
Freebies and Cheapies the RIGHT WAY FOR ALL!

Albertsons Coupon booklets

Albertsons has two great coupon booklets. HERE is a list of what they contain. I am beyond thrilled that I found them. Several other coupon blogger websites have written about them, but here in Montana we aren't always so lucky to get good deals.

CVS Pharmacy Summer Gas Card Promotion.

Starting this Sunday, May 22 2011, CVS Pharmacy is running a promotion that will reward shoppers with free gas cards.

Fill Up the Cart, Fill Up the Tank
Participation is easy. Customers can find the qualifying products on the front and back pages of the weekly CVS/pharmacy circular beginning May 22, accessible in-store, online at http://www.cvs.com/ and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/CVS. All qualifying products will be tagged with a "get free gas" icon to make them easily identifiable. Eligible products will rotate each week, giving shoppers greater flexibility to fill their carts with the essentials they shop for each week.
Once ExtraCare customers reach the $30 required purchase threshold, a special coupon will print on their receipt that can be redeemed immediately in store for a $10 gas card. If customers prefer to wait to redeem their coupon they have up to 30 days to do so. Limit one redemption per week for each ExtraCare cardholder.

Now that I've been couponing I've starting shopping at CVS more. They have sweet deals and this new promotion sprinkles a little more sugar on top!
Thank you www.PassionForSavings.com & The Krazy Coupon Lady for sharing this.

Wendy's $1 Coupon

If you go to the Wendy's website and sign up for their "WendyMail" you get a $1 coupon good toward their hot 'n juicy burgers or their premium chicken sandwiches.

The only trade off is you get e-mails sent to you with offers and coupons. Works for me!

UPDATE.. The coupon is e-mailed to you, but it may take awhile. I got mine a few hours after I signed up.

Freebiejeebies!

From magazine advertisements, to product websites, and referrals from friends I've found myself filling out freebie requests at a constant. There was a time I'd get something in the mail every other day. I had enough tampon/pad samples to last me months. I'm thinking I didn't have to buy them for close to a year. NO JOKE! When I did run out, I had the sweet little coupon that came with them to buy more. Same scenario with shampoo/conditioner and body washes.

HERE are some of my favorite sites. I either get e-mails alerting me to new offers, and/or I follow them on FaceBook and Twitter.

Organizing You Coupons

Everyone has different organization skills. I'm not here to tell you the best way to organize your coupons. I'll let you decide. I will share with you the way I FINALLY chose to organize mine. BTW It's still a work in progress.

Send your expired/unwanted coupons to troops.

Our U.S. military families stationed overseas are able to use them on base for up to six months after the manufacturer's expiration date!

THIS site explains the steps you need to take so you can send your coupons off.

Do you have a few minutes to spare?

Do you have a few hours to spare?
So far trying to organize the pile of coupons(paper money)I have on hand right now has been time consuming. I knew this wouldn't be easy. You reap the best rewards when you work hard. None the less,I will do what it takes to make this work. I have to. The price of groceries has gone from W.T.F to OMG we're going to starve to death!
Instead of getting a second job I decided to hire myself. I am the CEO of this household. :-P My main job is to get the most out of our paychecks. So I guess you can say I'm making a job out of this and not chalking it up another hobby.

I am going to be realistic about all of this too. Right now until I find the best resources, I'm just going to shoot for saving 50% on my bill. If it goes beyond that and TLC comes knocking on my door, that will work too. :-P

Before you start to clip and orgainze.

Sometimes I find a coupon and think it's too good to be true. I don't want to take it to the store and ask the cashier. If it is indeed fake it would be embarrassing. Not only that they may become wary of all the coupons I try to use.

Mobile Coupons

If you live an a smaller region like I do, you miss out on lots of inserts. This past Sunday I was anticipating 5 inserts, but only got 3. I came online to see if I could print the missing coupons out. They weren’t anywhere to be found. When they did post them they were gone in no time. I was beyond frustrated!

I went to make a call today I noticed I had two texts. One from Target and one from Bath and Body Works. Mobile Coupons! Why didn’t I think of that before? More people have cell phones than printers. Most people don’t have the time to clip coupons either. Here are a few sites you can sign up with to get coupons sent to your phone.

Coupon Lingo

As with everything out there, coupon clipping has it's own lingo. I'm still learning, but in the mean time HERE is a list of many common abbreviations you may come across.

If you know of any that aren't listed, please feel free to share. :-)

Couponing 101: Class Is In Session

Silly question, but where can you find coupons? :-)

So it begins.

I thank the Lord and my lucky stars that we have a beautiful roof over our head, food in our cupboards, gas in our cars and the kitties are fat because we can still give them treats. We may not have that tomorrow. Like may households today, we are struggling. We’ve been floating along, but now we are headed toward choppy waters. It’s to the point that I can’t have Starbucks daily and I only get my nails done every three weeks instead of two. WOE IS ME! *ahem* So I’ve decided to tighten my purse strings even more and get serious about how to afford to survive and still have my foofoo coffee and purdy nails. Thank goodness for the internet and reality television!

I’ve always clipped coupons, but I’ve never been organized about it. I forget I have them, lose them, or they expire. If I do remember them I only save a few dollars here and there. It tickles me, but I’m sure others are thinking AMATEUR! So what do you do? I’ve read magazine articles and watched TV shows on how people are using coupons and paying next to nothing at the grocery store. I’m just left thinking WHAT? HOW HOW HOW?

I live in MONTANA. I lot of people don’t even know we exist up here. How do you find deals and save like them thar city folk? Yes, we have the internet and Sunday papers. My zip code only goes so far and we get snubbed coupon wise. I learned that last week.

I went on a mini-vacay to Seattle and Portland. (that’s another blog, someday) and got Sunday papers from there as well as Idaho. It was couponpaloosa! I got our local paper and only a fraction of the same coupons were in it. W.T.F!!!!

I have some serious scheming to do if I want to save like the big dawgs.
